Instagram has been around for sometime we have not been updating as much as we would like. However that has changed, now that we have the ability to upload direct from field. Our interface allows our field team to upload direct so who knows what we will see. Its all U2 all the time.

iNNOCENCE & eXPERIENCE Tour Adds More Dates

A fifth show at London's O2 will take place on November 2nd, with the previous four nights sold out. Tickets will go on general sale this Friday, February 6th.

A third show at Barcelona's Palau Sant Jordi will take place on October 9th - the previous two nights sold out. Tickets will go on general  sale next Tuesday, February 10th.

U2.com subscribers who have not yet used their unique pre-sale access code - or new subscribers - can take part in a ticket pre-sale for these additional two shows from tomorrow, Tuesday February 3rd  at 10am (for eXPERIENCE subscribers) and from Wednesday, February 4th at 10am (for iNNOCENCE  subscribers). The pre-sale ends this Thursday, Feb 5th, at 5pm. All times are local venue time.  Tickets will be general admission on the floor and reserved seating in the stands.

U2 Fans Swamp Sites

For most fans today’s news was bitter sweet. The whole idea of having to wait a whole year before the boys come back to America seems a bit much for a few fans. For the most part fans see this as a possibility to catch U2’s new album which by the Summer 2011 should be out. At least the first single should be. Have you had time to look at the new dates and see what impact if any the dates make on your new travel plans? What do you think ? We want to hear from you.

As fans began to get the news of updated dates U2’s site become flooded with fans trying to get news. Early the site was down as they scrambled to deal with the large amount of traffic. U2TOURFANS had an increase that swelled as the day progressed.

Bono said in a video message that they have been working on some new music. We can expect to hear more about that in the coming weeks. In case you have been under a rock today here is the announcement.

U2’s summer concerts in North America, postponed in May to allow Bono, the band’s lead singer, to recover from back surgery, have been rescheduled for next year.

The 16 shows will now begin on May 21 at Invesco Field in Denver (where the band was to have played on June 12, 2010), and continue through July 23, when it will play at TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. The show at New Meadowlands Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., originally scheduled for July 19, 2010, will now be on July 20, 2011. The band has posted the full schedule on its Web site.

Tickets for the original shows will be honored on the new dates, said Live Nation, the tour’s promoter.

BlackBerry to release U2 Mobile Album on 9/12 (MAYBE)

It’s been several weeks since RIM announced they were sponsoring the U2 360 tour, more importantly their first mobile album. We got word that this is scheduled to be released on the the opening night of their North American tour , which is this coming Saturday, September 12th in Chicago.

In the teaser video it looked like they will also be including some sort of App that will work with the GPS in your Berry to locate the band, your friends and anyone else that has a Berry. Also you’ll be able to share watch videos share images, get news and updates.

Imagine if this mobile album works. I’m sure there is actually a bigger game going on here. Who better to test out a “mobile album” with no other than the biggest band in the world? If it’s successful, could this be the solution for online piracy?
