New York: U2 fans will have to wait a bit longer for the next album however not as long as this last album. Bono announced that the "Songs of Experience" will be released in 2016. Its the follow up to the 2014 release "Songs of Innocence" which all Itunes account holders got as a gift for free.
"Songs of Experience" is pretty much baked and ready however the band will invest the time in fine tuning the next release and 2016 will allow the band to tour with new music and change up the current set list with additional tunes.
Expect the U2 marketing machines to really come up with something different and most likely not a download.
