Boston: Show #3 down and the band can see New York on the horizon. The bright city lights await the boys arrival.

The North American leg will come to a fast wrap up later in the month with New York as the final North American city for the bands U2 iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE Tour 2015, 

Some very upset fans waited outside and inside a bar that passed around a secret event that even some blog sites picked up on. The band was not scheduled to perform on Monday night. We have a long standing policy not to engage in rumors or anything that we can not confirm.

Boston #3 had a few surprises with some movement around the setlist. The Crystal Ballroom made an appearance and Beautiful Day entered into a well deserved encore slot. The show closed with "I Shill Haven't Found, What I Am Looking For"  The highlight for the evening was "Gretchen" who Bono met earlier outside the venue. Bono asked her to join the band on stage and perform. "All I Want Is You"  Well played Gretchen, the crowd enjoyed the performance.

Tuesday, July 14 at 7:30PM | Doors Open at 6:30PM

Important information for GA Floor ticket holders

Security will distribute numbered wristbands beginning at 8AM each show day in the foyer of Stair 4 located past the box office on the West side of North Station. Ticket holders will be allowed to line back up at Stair 4 at 5PM. GA Doors will then open at 6PM.

Important Information: This is a Partially Paperless Ticketed Event
Must bring credit card used to purchase tickets & your photo ID 

Please be advised that all GA floor tickets are paperless for this event. The original ticket purchaser must attend the event with the credit card used to purchase AND a valid government issued photo ID. Both will be checked at turnstiles. Paperless tickets are non-transferrable and the entire party must enter the venue at the same time.

Boston Feels Like Home, U2 Fans Agree

Boston: U2 arrived into Boston with a wave of support from Toronto fans that just had the most amazing experience and a few dreams come true.  Boston is a special place for U2.  This town is home to the first North American spins for U2 music. This town totally supports U2 and of course the band embraces Boston. Critics and Bloggers throw their comments around as if their words carry weight with the band.

This band does not perform for the critics.  Last night the band stepped into TD Garden for the first of four sold out shows and that's just the way the band likes it. Having performed in Boston 23 times this is home to them. This is the summer show to see and its almost over for North America. A few dates in Boston and off to New York to close out the North America leg. In the business of touring New York happens to be the perfect end.  The crew and all that cargo can be wrapped up and shipped overseas with out skipping a beat. U2Bike will be packed up nicely and ready to be riding around the country side in September.  So enough about New York. We still have Boston right in front of us.  

Sound check saw the return of Invisible and yet to be performed on this tour New Years Day. The band continues to blend in their extensive catalog and while they may sound check a few tunes that does not mean the songs make it to the performance.

U2's Toronto Tour Dream Stop

Toronto, Ontario: Toronto fans may change the name of this tour stop to the U2 Dreams Come True stop for a few fans U2 departed from the norm and changed a few peoples lives forever. U2 has always been about their fans. This tour happens to be a bit different.

This tour seems to be about making some dreams possible. The band may not even know that a few of their fans have a couple of U2 experiences that they would like to have in their life time. Or maybe they do? Either way the Toronto shows had a few dreams come true. As we reported earlier about Mark Baker A.K.A @U2BROTHR and his band Acrobat and their opening night performance.

To fans and the band amazement they killed it. Bono and The rest of the band can be spotted watching off stage with smiles.  Well you would have thought that would have been the end of surprises. No a chance. U2 fans should not assume anything.

The band second night performance introduced Stephanie This fan played the guitar with the band for not one song but two. She played "Angel Of Harlem" and "All I Want Is You"  Which she killed it ! It was a very emotional performance and you could tell that she knew this was a once in a life time experience. Maybe that's what this tour really is about. Experiences that take your breath away.

This was a departure from the original set list which we received earlier in the evening and our Editor squashed our attempt to share it via social media. "The one thing I know is that a printed setlist is and has been always subject to change without notice he said" 

Well so true it was. "The Crystal Ballroom" did not make an appearance and the set continued as printed.  U2 moves on to Boston and New York to close out this leg expectations are high. This North American leg has been full of surprises, heartache, tears, laughter and dreams coming true.

U2's 360 Tour Rolls Forward

Having played two nights in Boston, NYC is on the horizon.

Irish eyes smiled upon the boys from Ireland Monday night as they played their final show in Boston. Their tour moves forward to NYC. 

U2 used Monday night to change up the set a bit starting off with “Magnificent” as the open instead of “Breathe” (Considered to be the first major change of the tour).  Breathe was skipped all together. However “Your Blue Room” and “Stay” “Mofo” and “Stories for Boys” found their way into the show as snippets.

Wednesday night the band hits Giants Stadium for a two-night stand. Will the weather hold up? We will have to wait and see. Expected evening showers on Wednesday and a little rain on Thursday afternoon we will have just to wait and see.

Remember that the boys will be on SNL this weekend with Megan Fox. This should be an amazing short set.

Back to Giant Stadium, we have not heard the rules yet. Nor do we expect to hear anything about tailgating rules. NYC/NJ can handle the crowd. However we will keep you posted.  

Wake up to Boston Pre-Sales

2 has added two new shows in Europe this summer, and announced the first pre-sale dates for North America. Here's the scoop:

New shows are confirmed for Paris (July 12) and London (August 15).

U2.com pre-sales for Chicago, Toronto, Boston, and New York will all run from 10 am on Tuesday (March 24) to 12 pm on Thursday (March 26). The public on-sale for Chicago will begin March 30th.

NOTE: For Boston and Chicago, the pre-sale isn't just for U2.com subscribers it seems. Season ticket holders for the New England Patriots and Chicago Bears have also been given access to the pre-sale starting on March 24. It does appear that "Horizon" subscribers to U2.com will have a two hour jump start on the pre-sale before the Patriots' and Bears' season ticket holders.
